Brittany: The Millennial Mom Edit

Hi, I’m Brittany.
I’m 36, living in New York, a Stay-At-Home Mom, a blue-collar wife, and a proud pitbull mom of two very spoiled dogs who absolutely think they run the household (they’re not wrong).
This is where I’m supposed to introduce myself in a neat little box, but the truth is, I’ve lived a few different versions of myself already.
Before I was home all day with a toddler asking me “why?” approximately 4,000 times before 9 a.m.; I was a corporate millennial doing the whole climb-the-ladder, check-the-box, keep-it-moving life.
And before I ever got here, I spent three years navigating infertility and five rounds of IUI just to become a mom in the first place.
So yeah… I don’t really do “lightly”, but I also don’t take any of it for granted.
I’m deeply grateful to be home with my son now. That part is real. But I’m also not the type to pretend it’s always peaceful, aesthetic, or wrapped up in a bow with a matching Stanley cup and a quiet morning routine. Some days it is soft and slow. Other days it’s chaos in sweatpants with cold coffee reheated three times and me negotiating with a toddler like it’s a hostage situation.

Both things can be true.
These days, I spend most of my time in the rhythm of motherhood; being outside as much as possible, starting my mornings with a quick mantra so I don’t lose myself before breakfast, getting my work done early when my brain still feels like it belongs to me, and yes… making sure my supplements and caffeine are handled. Non-negotiable.
I’ve also stepped into a new version of myself professionally. Part network marketer, part content creator, part “figuring it out as I go.” I share wellness in a way that actually fits real life (glutathione, duh), simple self-care for moms who don’t have time for a 12-step routine (press-ons and good hair, say no more!), and a lot of humor about what it actually looks like to be in the thick of motherhood without losing your mind.
I also get to create content for local and online brands, which feels like a really full-circle moment for the girl who used to sit in corporate meetings wondering if there was more to life than spreadsheets and status updates.
There’s a lot I could say this blog will be, but mostly, it’s this:
It’s honest.
It’s a little messy.
It’s funny when it can be.
And it’s always real.
If you’re here, you’re probably somewhere in the middle too. Not the “Pinterest-perfect mom” version of life, and not the complete chaos version either. Just… living it. Trying. Loving your people. Figuring yourself out in the cracks of the day.
That’s where I am too.
And I’m glad you’re here.
xoxo Brittany.
